Expert tours in Polish, practical consultations, and support from a Polish-Balinese couple who know the island inside out
Hi — we're Michał and Desak. Bali has been our home for over 10 years. Desak is Balinese and Michał is Polish, so we live and function within the local community every day, and we understand both Balinese culture and the needs of people coming here from Poland.
We organize original tours around Bali and help people discover the island consciously — not just 'ticking off attractions,' but truly understanding the place, its people, and traditions. We speak Indonesian and Balinese, which allows us to show Bali from the inside, not just from a tourist's perspective.
Many local drivers offer cheap rides, but their role is often limited to transport from point A to B. They sometimes recommend places geared towards tourists with inflated prices — often because they receive commissions. We focus on trusted local places, good quality services, and reasonable prices, so you can experience Bali more authentically without overpaying.
During tours, we talk about the island's history, Balinese Hinduism, ceremonies and rituals, the caste system, temples, rice farming, volcanoes, cultural symbolism, and unique events like Nyepi — the Balinese Day of Silence. This is knowledge from living here, not from guidebooks.
Balijczyk is not a travel blog. It's a platform of practical knowledge and real support for people who want to plan their stay in Bali well, avoid typical mistakes, and see the island as it truly is.
